Action for Healthy Communities

This program responds to the need of organizational growth and sustainability not only of AHC but its community partners. The process involves strategies to recruit and retain appropriate membership, board members, and staff. It also includes enhancing the capacity to create alliances and partnerships that help to offer integrated support to the communities while creating activities that are cost-effective.

To respond to community needs timely and appropriately, AHC promotes and develops partnerships, offers training workshops to governance community bodies, organizes and runs staff professional development for AHC and partners staff, increases funding base, documents experiences and shares them through this web site, and develop appropriate policies and procedures.
